Pastor David Melendez joined Northside Assembly as Lead Pastor in February 2025. With a heart for people and a passion for reaching the lost, he has dedicated his life to helping others understand and apply the Bible in a meaningful way. A graduate of Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL, Pastor Dave has led thriving churches of over 1,000 in attendance and successfully planted two churches.

He and his wife, Gina, have three children—Brittany, Brianna, and Brandon. When he's not preaching or leading, you’ll likely find him tackling a CrossFit workout or cheering on his favorite team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Pastor Dave is excited to be part of the Northside family and looks forward to seeing lives transformed by the power of Jesus.

Pastor Jonathan joined the team in late 2021. He and his wife, Lindsey have attended and served at Northside for many years prior to joining the team. They have three kids. Two boys, Judah and Graham, and a baby girl, Charlotte Rose. They all love to travel and see the world together. Pastor Jonathan holds a B.S. in Business Admin and Finance and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Ministry Leadership. He serves as the oversight of campus operations and leads the finance team, and worship & tech ministries of the church.

 Pastor Faith joined the Northside leadership team in the Fall of 2020. Faith currently oversees activities and curriculum for all Northside Kids classes and leads Kids Church   for ages 5-6th grade every Sunday at 10:30am. She has a heart for children and loves seeing them grow up loving Jesus. She'd love to meet you! Stop by and say, "hey!"

Pastor Sam and his wife Amber serve our youth ministry with excellence. Pastor Sam is a graduate from Southeastern University in Florida & a huge Alabama fan. He and Amber have a beautiful baby boy, Easton. Be sure to say hi and welcome them to our family!
